TPCG Tropical Storm Harvey Update (8/29 4:30p)

The Terrebonne Parish Public Works Division continues to provide sand and sandbags at the following locations:
- Adult Softball Complex on Airbase
- Cannata’s West
- Knights of Columbus Hall in Pointe-aux-Chenes
- Upper Dularge Fire Station
- Bayou Black Fire Station
- Ward 7 in Chauvin
- West Terrebonne East Fire Station
- West Terrebonne Central Fire Station
- Bobtown Volunteer Fire Station
- Mechanicville Gym
- Montegut Fire Station
- St. Ann Church in Bourg
- Houma-Terrebonne Civic Center
- Devon Keller Memorial Center
- Village East Fire Department
- Public Works North Campus (206 Government St.)
The Terrebonne Parish Public Works Department will be offering up to (30) filled sandbags per TERREBONNE PARISH RESIDENT at the Public Works Yard (near Shannon Hardware) located at 1860 Grand Caillou, Houma, La., again tomorrow, Wednesday, August 30th from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM.
All schools in the Terrebonne Parish School District, TARC, and the Diocese of Houma-Thibodaux WILL be CLOSED tomorrow.
Terrebonne Levee and Conservation District has closed the following floodgates: Upper Little Caillou Auxiliary Structure, Bayou Point Aux Chenes, Bayou Petit Caillou, Placid Canal floodgate, Humble Canal, HNC Bubba Dove, Bayou Grand Caillou, Bayou Dularge, Gibson, and Bush Canal Floodgate. All other floodgates are being monitored by the Terrebonne Levee and Conservation District. Please continue to monitor the TLCD website at tlcd.org for up-to-date information on floodgate operations.
Any Terrebonne Parish residents or businesses that have sustained damage due to Tropical Storm Harvey need to contact the Terrebonne Parish Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Preparedness at (985) 873-6357.
