A Message From Gordon Dove About First Responder Housing

Over the past two weeks, TPCG Administration and Parish President Gordon Dove have been working diligently with FEMA to provide temporary housing for our first responders. The following update is available from Gordon Dove:

"Yesterday, I personally met with Governor John Bel Edwards to address housing for our police deputies, firemen, and other first responders. He informed me that help is on its way, but FEMA will not pay for first responders' families. I strongly disagree and Governor Edwards and I will continue to fight for it. The Governor and I have been working with our federal delegation to address this matter."
