Updated Public Meeting Notice: Council/Committee Meetings Held June 9 & 10

Update: Due to the threat of possible inclement weather, the committee meetings will be held Tuesday, June 9, 2020, instead of Monday, June 8, 2020.

The council and committee meetings have been scheduled to meet on the following days:

Tuesday, June 9, 2020

  • Budget & Finance Committee — 5:30 p.m.
  • Public Services Committee — 5:35 p.m.
  • Community Development and Planning Committee — 5:40 p.m.
  • Policy, Procedure, and Legal Committee — 5:45 p.m.

Wednesday, June 10, 2020

  • Regular Council Session — 6 p.m.

The meetings will be held at the Houma-Terrebonne Civic Center, 346 Civic Center Blvd., Houma. 

The Council will live stream the meeting on Facebook. Check the Council's Facebook and Twitter pages, as well as tpcg.org for updates and cancellations.

Individuals wishing to address the council will have to fill out a speaker card and email the card to council@tpcg.org. A speaker card is attached to this Notice. As always, Public Comment is allowed only on an item listed on the agenda. To prevent participation in the meeting by anonymous or fictitious individuals, you are required to include your name, telephone number, and email address on the card. You are also required to sign and date your speaker card at the bottom. Speaker cards will also be available at the meeting and must be submitted prior to the beginning of the meeting.

ALL ATTENDEES will be required to have their temperatures taken prior to entering the proceedings. Individuals with a temperature higher than 100.4 will not be allowed to attend the meetings. ATTENDEES MUST WEAR MASKS.

All agendas and backup will be posted on the Parish's website by Thursday afternoon the week prior to the meetings. Access the information directly through tpcg.org/councilagendas.

It is the policy of the Terrebonne Parish Council that all cell phones, pagers, and electronic devices used for communication shall be silenced for the duration of the meetings. Individuals addressing the Council should be respectful of others in their choice of words and actions.
